GAITHERSBURG, MD, October 28, 2008 – In October Fusion UV Systems GmbH welcomed over 200 guests to one-day seminars focused on UV curing technology. Response to the seminars was overwhelming, with both the Swiss and the Austrian locations filled to capacity. Attendees varied from raw material and coating suppliers to end users and machine builders, all wanting to learn more about the possibilities of using UV technology.
One of the attendees, Mr. Johann Kaltenegger with Linde AG commented, “My congratulations on the implementation of this seminar. It had a very versatile substance, top quality and was perfectly organized.”

These seminars, the first UV seminars hosted by Fusion UV in German, follow two similarly successful seminars held in 2007 in Czech Republic and Hungary. High quality presentations by 12 invited technical experts focused on industrial applications covering topics such as the basics of UV technology, chemistry, UV measurement and UV simulation. The program also included presentations from chemistry suppliers about plastic coating, coating of deco parts, UV screen-printing, film coating, coatings for corrosion resistance, and UV powders.
